Vad räknas som villa?
En villa räknas som ett fristående bostadshus för en familj, vanligen på minst 100 m² och med egen tomt. Villor kräver bygglov från kommunen enligt Plan- och bygglagen (PBL), till skillnad från attefallshus som oftast inte kräver någon form av anmälan. A villa is considered a detached residential building for one family, usually at least 100 m² and with its own plot. Villas require a building permit from the municipality according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL), unlike detached houses which usually do not require any form of notification. The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning offers villas over 100 m² with 100+ floor plans and full adaptation, built according to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's building regulations (BBR).
