Vanliga poster att räkna med är mark- och grundarbete, transport och lyft, anslutning av VA och el, bygglov och andra myndighetsavgifter samt eventuella tillval. Även finplanering av tomten, uppfart, altan och andra arbeten efter husleveransen kan tillkomma. En buffert på omkring 10% av den totala projektbudgeten kan vara bra för oförutsedda kostnader.
