Ja, i vissa fall. Sedan 1 december 2025 gäller nya regler i PBL som ger större möjligheter att bygga komplementbyggnader och komplementbostadshus utan bygglov. Inom detaljplan kan byggnaden vara upp till 30 m², medan gränsen utanför detaljplan är 50 m², förutsatt att övriga krav på bland annat höjd, placering och tomtens totala lovfria byggrätt uppfylls. För ett vanligt fristående bostadshus krävs däremot normalt bygglov. Vad som gäller för den specifika fastigheten bör alltid kontrolleras mot kommunens bestämmelser. Yes, in some cases. Since 1 December 2025, new rules have been in force in the Swedish Building Act (PBL) that provide greater opportunities to build accessory buildings and accessory residential buildings without a building permit. Within the detailed plan, the building can be up to 30 m², while the limit outside the detailed plan is 50 m², provided that other requirements such as height, location and the plot's total building rights without permission are met.
However, a normal detached residential building normally requires a building permit. What applies to the specific property should always be checked against the municipality's regulations.
