Startbesked är kommunens godkännande att påbörja bygget och utfärdas efter det tekniska samrådet, där kontrollplanen fastställs enligt PBL. Du får alltså startbeskedet efter att bygglovet är beviljat men innan bygget startar, och bygget får inte påbörjas utan det. För nya hus krävs oftast även en kontrollansvarig (KA) på plats. A start clearance (startbesked) is the municipality's approval to begin construction and is issued after the technical consultation, where the control plan is established under PBL. You therefore receive it after the permit is granted but before construction starts, and the build may not begin without it. New houses usually also require a controller of works (KA).
