Prickmark i en detaljplan är mark som inte får bebyggas, ofta avsedd att hållas fri exempelvis nära tomtgränser eller gator. Du får alltså normalt inte placera en byggnad på prickmarken, vilket påverkar var på tomten huset kan stå. Vill du ändå bygga där kan en mindre avvikelse eller dispens krävas, vilket kommunen prövar enligt PBL. Non-building land, or prickmark, in a detailed plan is land that may not be built on, often meant to be kept clear, for example near plot boundaries or streets. You normally may not place a building on prickmark, which affects where on the plot the house can stand. If you still want to build there, a minor deviation or exemption may be needed, which the municipality assesses under PBL.
